More than a hospital.

What should patients bring with them to the hospital

What documents and personal property shall I bring to the hospital?

Below is a list of all necessary items.

Personal documents

  • Health insurance card
  • Vaccination and health card
  • Recommendations for hospital treatment or examinations carried out
  • Other important documents (reports from other hospital admissions, etc.)
  • The accompaniment (e.g. in the case of a child patient) must have a national identity card and health insurance card

Personal necessities

  • Basic hygiene necessities and articles of daily use
  • Slippers and socks, pyjamas and dressing gown at your own discretion

In the case of an emergency admittance when there is not time to take the above things, we advise you to ask your relatives or friends to bring them the following day.

Admittance of children and infants

The above applies in general when admitting children and infants. In addition, however, we would like to remind you of the following:

  • The accompaniment of a child patient must have a national identity card and health insurance card.
  • Basic toiletries and articles of daily use may vary depending on the age of the child.

We can provide all necessary clothes to infants, even if they are in the hospital accompanied by their mothers.

The children's department is sufficiently equipped with toys and books. You can give your children their own books, toys, radio, electronic games and devices. The hospital and its staff accept no liability for any loss, damage or theft of any property belonging to a patient.
