Prices for requested or necessary healthcare have been determined based on the Methodology for the Billing of Foreigners of the Hospital České Budějovice, a.s. Patients may obtain more detailed information on the prices from their attending physician or - 387 872 233.
In cases where the patient does not have health insurance, the hospital requires payment for the healthcare rendered to him or her in cash, or via bank transfer after prior agreement.
The hospital does not have an exchange office or a cash dispenser machine that would partially replace an exchange office, so it is recommended that patients are equipped with sufficient cash in Czech currency. The nearest exchange office and cash dispenser are located in Česká spořitelna, Lidická třída 78, České Budějovice.
The hospital does not provide interpreters. Should a patient speak neither German nor English, we recommend that they bring someone with them who speaks both their mother tongue and at least some Czech.

Patients from EU countries who need and use necessarily needed care should bring their European Health Insurance Card with them, as well as their commercial insurance certificate should they need this for transport to their home country.
In view of the large number of health insurance companies operating world-wide and in view of the types of health insurance offered, we regard it as necessary to settle each case on its own individual merits and in cooperation between the patient and the Hospital České Budějovice, a.s.
